We are Amy and Sam, and we are grateful to introduce ourselves. Sam grew up in the country in Pennsylvania, and Amy grew up in the suburbs of New York City. We have been living together in Brooklyn for about 10 years.

We love to spend time together, spend time with friends and families, play games, cook together, and explore new and familiar places.

After deciding that we would like to become parents, we chose to expand our family through adoption. Amy’s mom was adopted, and some of Sam’s cousins were adopted. We are looking forward to growing our family in this way.

Fun Facts about Amy & Sam
Favorite places: Many of our favorite places are around our neighborhood in Brooklyn. We have so many wonderful friends nearby, and we are lucky to be able to meet up with them in Prospect Park, local music venues, or great restaurants. We also love going to Sam’s family’s beach house off the coast of Connecticut or Amy’s family’s cabin in the Adirondacks.
Favorite foods: Amy: french fries and Chinese takeout; Sam: pizza, cheeseburgers, Amy’s homemade mac n cheese
Favorite hobbies: Together we love to hike, cook, and play games. Amy enjoys exploring new places with friends, creating arts and crafts, and volunteering for progressive causes. Sam loves to bake breads and pastries, read science fiction and fantasy novels, and explore nature.
Favorite holidays: We love spending time laughing, eating, and hanging out with our friends and family. We get to do that for Christmas, Passover, Halloween, and Pride!
