Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to consider our profile and we are grateful that you have chosen to learn more about us. We can only imagine how much you must be going through at this time. We admire your strength and courage in considering adoption and we feel honored that you’re considering us to be part of your child’s life.

We are Maurice (people call me Mo) and Andrew, and have been together since 2007 after first meeting in Philadelphia. We got married in 2016, and we live in a family-friendly neighborhood outside of Philadelphia. We have a two-year-old son, Rhys, who we welcomed into our family through adoption and we can’t wait to see him become a big brother.

We are excited to welcome another child into our family. We both grew up in big families and it’s been a dream of ours to expand our family, and have our children play with his/her cousins and extended family.

We feel blessed to become parents for a second time, and it’s important for us that our children grow up proud of every part of who they are and their history. We promise to open our hearts and provide a child with unconditional love and support. We hope this book provides you with a sense of who we are, and the loving family we will welcome another child into.

Fun Facts about Andrew & Mo

Favorite places: We love spending time at the beach and most of our vacations are in the warm sunshine. Hawaii has been our favorite vacation together! With most of our families in Ohio and Georgia, a lot of trips are spent visiting our extended families.
Favorite foods:  We love to cook. Andrew is a big baker and loves to make desserts, cookies and cakes for family celebrations. Mo enjoys grilling and sharing his family’s southern comfort recipes with Andrew and Rhys. We also really like to try new restaurants around Philadelphia.
Favorite sports teams:  We love college football season. Andrew’s family is big Notre Dame fans and Mo, having grown up in Georgia, loves SEC football!
Favorite hobbies: We spend as much time outside as we can – playing in the yard, going on walks and hikes, and swimming.
Favorite holidays:  Thanksgiving has always been our favorite holiday together – enjoying great food with family who live close to us. The Christmas season is also one of our favorite times of the year, especially now that we get to experience it with Rhys.
Favorite music:  We like all kinds of music, including R&B, Country, and Yacht Rock. These days toddler tunes are on heavy rotation.
