Hi! We are both so thrilled that we found Open Arms and have the opportunity to become parents. Adoption has always felt right to us. Several aunts, uncles, and friends have come into our lives through adoption. We are teachers who love working with kids every day. We believe that each child is unique and special. Parenting will give us the opportunity to guide them through all the beautiful and difficult moments that life will bring. We have a home with so much love, support, and joy and would be so grateful to share that with a child.
The thing we value most is family. We share a two-family house with Rebecca’s brother and his family. Our nephew, Jackson, and his sister, Rowan, are a huge part of our lives and we know they will be amazing cousins to our child one day. Rebecca’s parents live two blocks away. We gather there every Sunday to watch football or swim in the pool and eat a yummy home cooked meal. Courtney’s family is also a wonderful support system. We often spend time with them at her mom’s house, the beach, or on our annual Disney trip.

Fun Facts about Courtney & Rebecca
Favorite Places: Disney World is our happy place. If you choose to check out our full profile, you will see our Disney themed profile book. We love the opportunity to act like kids on our yearly Disney trips. Also, we love going to the beach. We take a week-long summer trip with Rebecca’s family, and we head to the beach for quick weekend getaways throughout the year.
Favorite Sports Teams: We are both supportive fans of the New York Giants no matter how painful a season might be. During baseball season, we cheer on different teams. Courtney grew up as a big Met fan while Rebecca roots for the Yankees.
Favorite Foods: Courtney’s favorite food is chicken parmigiana, and Rebecca’s favorite food is pizza. However, the meal they look forward to the most is Family Sunday dinner at Rebecca’s parents’ house. We love sitting around the table enjoying a home cooked meal and spending time with the family.
Favorite Holidays: Courtney’s favorite holiday is Thanksgiving and Rebecca’s favorite holiday is Passover. Even though our favorite holidays differ, we love these holidays because of the quality time we get to spend with our families. Family is very important to both of us, and we look forward to celebrating these holidays with them.
