We’re Emily and Tim. We’re grateful that you are taking the time to get to know us. We have decided that building our family through adoption is the path we’ve chosen, and we are really excited! We have so much love to give, a cozy colorful home to live in, a big community of friends and family to help nurture, and lots of creativity to share.
We are an artist and a musician who love to spend time in nature, work on our respective arts, and enjoy meals with friends. We love to travel and spend time in new places. Between the two of us we have been to 18 countries and have lived on both coasts. We love living in Philadelphia since we are close to family, enjoy our jobs, our neighborhood, and our friends. Our friends and family are so excited to welcome a baby into our lives! As people, we pride ourselves on being empathetic, kind and giving. We value trust, respect and compassion. We plan on sharing those values with our child.
Whatever path you choose, we are sending love and support.

Fun Facts about Emily & Tim
Favorite places: Wissahickon Park in Philadelphia– we love hiking along the creek and meeting up with friends in springtime as all of the plants and flowers start to bloom. We also enjoy traveling and have enjoyed multiple trips to Mexico in recent years–full of great people, culture and food!
Favorite foods: Tim makes great vegetarian burritos centered around squash and black beans, which are healthy and delicious. When eating out, we usually go for chinese food (dan dan noodles, spicy cucumber salad and cumin chicken being our favorite).
Favorite hobbies: Emily’s art skills are pretty endless whether she’s painting or working on fabric dyes and Tim is always working on multiple music projects with his collection of guitars and keyboards. Spending time outdoors is another favorite pastime and we really enjoy kayaking, biking when the weather’s nice. There’s a few great getaways close to home for us to escape the city and find some nature.
Favorite music: Our tastes crossover with artists like Pink Floyd, Neil Young and Elvis Costello. We also enjoy contemporary artists and frequently enjoy Philly’s live music scene.
