Hello!

Thank you for reading our profile and getting to know us! We’re Jamie and Charles. Throughout our relationship we have gone on adventures, grown our community, and have eaten many delicious meals. We’re ready to start our family through adoption and we hope you get to see who we are as people, partners, and as potential parents.

We have lived in New York our whole lives. Charles grew up in Queens while Jamie grew up in Massapequa, Long Island. We call Brooklyn home and are lucky to be surrounded by a community of beloved friends and family.

Jamie runs her own business as a creative marketing agency while Charles works full-time as a copywriter. Together, we’re creative people who love traveling, food, new experiences, and music. We also enjoy the smaller moments like sharing a dinner table with those we love.

We want to share this life with our family. We want to raise our child with a sense of curiosity and openness to new experiences. We can’t predict the future, so we can only hope to raise our child to be free to pursue what makes them happy. We’re humbled that you are reading our book and spending time with us. Jamie and I wish you the best through your journey.

Fun Facts about Jamie & Charles:
Favorite places: We love to travel and explore new cultures. Some of our favorite trips have been to Mexico City, Barcelona, and Seattle.
Favorite foods: We are always trying and cooking new food, but Charles’ fish tacos are always on the menu. We recently participated in a Kenyan cooking class where we cooked some great food including curry and chapati.
Favorite music: Music is a constant part of our lives. We love going to concerts and go every year to the Newport Folk Festival.
Favorite hobbies: Aside from going to concerts and traveling, Jamie enjoys riding her bike around the city and baking. Charles grew up playing handball and enjoys going on bike rides with Jamie.
