Hello,

We’re Mark and Tara and are excited and grateful for you to learn about us through the following pages. We admire and appreciate your courage, strength and love for your child.

Since the earliest days of our relationship, we always knew we would be including adoption in our family plan.  In 2021, our dream came true when our daughter, Emerson, came into our lives through adoption.  She is a happy, adventurous, curious little girl who is very excited to become a big sister! We know she will be caring, loving and protective.

Our lives are spent with family and friends, playing with our dog – Callie, day trips and other adventures.  We love weekend morning pancakes, big family vacations, playing with toys and games, listening to music, reading books and movie nights in bed.

We understand that you have many decisions as to what’s best for you and your baby.  We are excited to grow our family and make lifelong memories. We hope that the following pages give you a glimpse of who we are and our lives.

Fun Facts About Mark & Tara

Favorite Places: We love the beach (any beach!) and treasure our time at the Jersey shore every year with Tara’s family.  Disney World and Washington, DC are also family favorites.  Mark and Tara love London and can’t wait to take a trip there as a family!

Favorite Holidays: Christmas and Halloween are favorites here for sure. We love decorating for Christmas and all of the fun activities for Halloween. We also love to celebrate the summer holidays with our family, having BBQs at our house and a water slide for the kids (and the adults)

Favorite Music: Mark: alternative, hip hop and 70’s & 80s rock; Tara: pop, hip hop, alternative and Broadway; Emerson: “rock and roll”, Harry Styles and Lady Gaga (these are current favorites that change often)

Favorite Food: Mexican, Thai, and sushi are Mark and Tara’s favorites.  Emerson’s favorites are macaroni and cheese and fruit snacks. And we all love ice cream – no matter the time of year
