First, we want to thank you for reading about us as you consider your options for you and your baby.  We know this is a difficult time in your life, and we admire your great strength and courage.

We are Miraida and Alex and we live in a diverse and family friendly neighborhood in Brooklyn with lots of parks, restaurants and cultural events. We have accomplished many educational and professional goals. We are parents through adoption to our 3 year old daughter Leyla, and we want to expand our family through adoption.

We are excited and ready to welcome another child into our lives.  As you look through this book, we hope to show you some of the happiness, love and support we enjoy with our family and friends.
