We are Rebekah and Evan and we are honored to be considered by you in helping us grow our family. We’ve been on the family growing journey for several years and can’t wait to share our lives with a child. We have so much love to give as do our extended families. We’re so excited to watch our child grow into their own identity and shower them with everything we have to offer.
We are surrounded by love from our big families, close friends and everyone is very excited to welcome a child into our lives. We’ve been together since 2008 when Evan was looking for musicians to join a band he was forming (Rebekah is also a musician and plays frequently). A band was formed as was a marriage-to-be. Aside from a shared love of music, Evan is an artist (but has an additional career he loves) and Rebekah is a seamstress and product designer.
After many years in Brooklyn, we live in Connecticut surrounded by nature. We love enjoying our home and our peaceful surroundings and exploring the quaint towns nearby.
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us. We know that you have an incredibly hard decision to make and we wish you all the strength, wisdom and support in your journey.

Fun Facts about Rebekah & Evan
Favorite Foods: Evan makes a mean chocolate cake which is his grandma’s old recipe. We’re also currently obsessed with the Ben & Jerry’s flavor, “Minter Wonderland.” Usually, we love sushi, cheeseburgers, Evan’s mom’s brisket and Rebekah’s homemade soups.
Favorite Hobbles: We love to decorate our home, play music (Evan at home and Rebekah in a band) and Evan loves to bake.
Favorite Places: We love nature so we’ve been really happy in the mountains, woods and the beach. Our favorite places have been a combination of nature, history and culture. Some examples are Israel where Evan spent a lot of time, Greece where Rebekah spent a bit of time, Tanzania and Stockholm.
Favorite Holidays: Let’s face it, even though he’s Jewish, Evan loves Christmas (it’s so pretty!) and so does Rebekah. We enjoy spending time with Rebekah’s family during the holiday. We usually spend New Years and July 4th upstate New York with close friends which we look forward to every year.
