Hello! We’re Sarah and Damon, and we are honored and humbled that you are choosing to look and learn about us. We have the utmost respect for you and a deep admiration for your strength.
We’ve tried to represent ourselves as purely as we can to help you in your journey.
We met in college in 2002 and have been with each other since, through good times and bad. We’ve grown together and helped one another through many ups and downs, and are so excited to become parents through adoption.
We’re both artists, and our home in Philadelphia is filled with love, laughter, singing, dancing, art, books, and good food. We love to travel, see movies, go to concerts, make art, and enjoy the outdoors. We are affectionate, respectful, and value each other’s work and opinions.
We’re committed to raising a child with a deep connection to their cultural and ethnic roots. We can’t wait to give them unconditional love and support, and raise them with a responsible awareness of the world and the people around them. We will always keep them safe, and provide them everything they will ever need to succeed.
Fun Facts about Sarah & Damon
Favorite places: We spend a lot of time out on the east end of Long Island, where Sarah’s parents have a beach house, especially during the summer. It’s so peaceful; surrounded by nature. There’s always something to do, like kayak, swim, play sports in the yard, ride bikes, or go on the boat.
Favorite hobbies: Sarah’s passionate about painting, weaving, and spending time outdoors. She’s also into taking care of her body and mind through exercise and meditation. Damon has skateboarded since he was a kid. He still loves to skate and play video games. He also makes electronic music and art.
Favorite holidays: Damon loves New Years because it’s a positive time of celebration when everyone takes a look at themselves and make resolutions for the future. Sarah loves Christmas, because of the family traditions, good smells, and good food it comes with.
Favorite music: We have really wide-ranging and eclectic tastes in music. There’s always something playing in our house: electronic, pop, rap, hardcore, punk, classical, jazz… We were both kids in the early 90s, so we both still hold a great, unabashed love for early 90s dance music.
