Hi! We’re Sarah & Hossannah. Thanks for sharing your time!
The two of us met in 2013 and have been inseparable ever since. We got married in 2018 with our daughter, Zazie, who we had just recently adopted, cradled in our arms.
Our cozy home is full of music, dancing, bad singing, and big dinners. We love to laugh, travel, see art, eat with friends, and hang out with our families. We’ve both been teachers and love our students. We’ve lived in NYC for over 15 years, and now spend our weekends re-meeting this city through Zazie’s eyes. Together we love visiting museums, taking classes, trying out new playgrounds, and visiting Coney Island. We have a blast as a family, and can’t wait to bring another child into our home.
We believe that considering adoption is one of the most selfless acts a parent can take, and are sending you love, strength, and hope for your own journey. Know that if you decide to choose us, we will provide your child with an abundance of love and kindness, and as many opportunities as we can (as well as the sweetest, silliest big sister in all of Brooklyn 🙂

Fun Facts about Sarah & Hossannah
Favorite places: In NYC where we live we love the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, especially their World Brooklyn exhibit. We go several times a month. We also love to travel, and New Orleans and Morocco are two of our favorites.
Favorite foods: Our daughter is a french fry connoisseur. Sarah loves breakfast. Hossannah loves all Filipino food. And as a family we like Shake Shack.
Favorite holidays: Halloween! This year Sarah surprised us by dressing up as a huge inflatable dinosaur. She was the hit at our daughter’s school’s Trunk or Treat. And Christmas—we started a new tradition of buying ornaments wherever we’re traveling so we can remember our family trips as we decorate the tree. New additions to our tree this year are Disney World, Miami, LA and the oldest carousel in the US🎄
Favorite music: Currently, anything with a good drumbeat like Sheila E’s “The Glamorous Life” because our daughter is taking drum lessons. Also 90s R&B (Mary J. Blige, TLC), 80s pop (Whitney Houston, Prince, Sade) and 70s classics (Fleetwood Mac & the queen–her majesty–Aretha Franklin).
