Hello! We want to thank you for giving us this opportunity to introduce ourselves. We know that this is a difficult time for you, and a difficult decision, and we wish you strength and support on your journey. We hope this book gives you a clearer picture of who we are, and how we will approach parenthood.

We have been married for almost nine years, and we have been together for fourteen years. Our relationship is built on love, trust, humor, admiration, and gratitude for each other. We will raise a child in a home with unconditional love and support, with a deep connection to their heritage that honors you and your courage, and with the freedom to express themselves, explore, and develop confidence as they grow.

We can’t wait to take a child on adventures and make memories as a family traveling and experiencing new cultures, but we will also cherish everyday life at home—doing things like reading, hiking, gardening, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

We are beyond grateful that you might consider us for your child’s future, and we hope that getting to know us makes this difficult decision a little bit easier.

Fun Facts About Tyler & Caitlyn

Favorite hobbies: We love reading, writing, traveling, seeing movies, being outside (especially in the summer), joking around, and visiting museums. Tyler enjoys tennis, cooking, and watching the Knicks. Caitlin especially loves figure skating, thrifting, and antiquing.

Favorite places: We both love New York City, the Catskill Mountains, Maui, Mexico City, and being at home with our dog and two cats. Caitlin loves being on the ice and visiting her sister in Philadelphia. Tyler loves going to Home Depot and his favorite travel destination is Prague.

Favorite foods: We love Thai food, sushi, and Carolina-style pulled pork sandwiches. Tyler’s favorite foods also include tacos and licorice, while Caitlin’s are hot peppers and gummy bears.

Favorite holidays: We love combining Christmas and Hanukkah to celebrate Chrismukkah!
