Event Navigation
It’s natural to wonder what the days will be like before your baby comes home to you. There are so many unknowns throughout the adoption process and the experience you will have just before you adopt is yet another unknown. But hearing about the common scenarios our families have experienced over the past 17 years, can be useful in helping you feel prepared for what might be ahead for you. In this workshop, we will talk about practical ways to prepare in advance for baby, visiting with potential Birthmom, “last minute adoptions”, wellbaby nursery and NICU protocol, interim care, ICPC (Interstate Compact for the Protection of Children) process, etc. Please join us to discuss these issues and lots more and to learn how Open Arms will support both you and the Birthfamily through this very important experience.
Facilitators: Meredith Rose & Michele LeMasney, Open Arms
Registration is required for all events.
