Hi! We are John and Nikki. We thank you for considering us as you explore adoption for your baby. We hope that you will learn a little bit about us and who we are. We want you to know that having a family has been our dream for a long time. We are blessed to live a fulfilled life and becoming parents would be truly a gifted experience.
We met by chance in 2003. Both of us were living in Chicago at the time but somehow found ourselves at the Newark airport on the 4th of July. Nikki didn’t know how to get to the city and had to ask for directions from a stranger standing by the train ticket machine. That kind stranger happened to be John. We spoke the entire train ride and learned that we have many things in common such as travel, food, and sports. When we parted ways, John gave Nikki his business card. This could have been the end of story, but it’s not. A month later back in Chicago, Nikki contacted John and asked if he wanted to meet for drinks around their offices. We met up for a beer, had a great debate about football, and as they say, the rest is history. We’ve been married since 2005 and have enjoyed many debates about our favorite teams.
In the city, we enjoyed trying new types of cuisines, riding our bikes in the park, and meeting up with friends. Also, we’re happy to spend some down time at our Brooklyn home. We want to provide a home that embraces our community and the world.
